Sandeep Rawata
Uttaranchal, a state located in the Himalayan North of India, known for its picturesque treks and spectacular glaciers is where Sandeep Rawat was born and raised. After cheffing at the Hyatt in Calcutta for two years, Rawata worked with Singh at Wildflower for three years. His upbringing in an area with constant climatic changes and limited milk supply set the stage for Sandeep’s style of cooking. Simple, nutritious and delicious which is seen in the offering at Piquancy, with many dishes dairy free. Rawata has been head chef at Piquancy since it opened.
